What is MindRight?

MindRight is a simple way to get support when you need it. It’s not therapy - it’s nonclinical emotional support for everyday life. MindRight connects you, by text, to your personal emotional support partner - real people from the community who are here to listen, reflect, and walk with you through everyday life - the stress, uncertainty, and moments that can feel heavy.

MindRight exists for the in-between times, offering human support and connection. Think of MindRight as someone steady in your corner: accessible, human, and there when you don’t want to carry everything alone.

How does it work?

On your scheduled days,  MindRight checks in with you over text message. You can then talk about anything you're going through, and your MindRight Partner offers support. You'll be matched with a Partner who gets to know you to support you overtime.

Please note, MindRight provides nonclinical emotional support and is not a replacement for therapy or medical care. We take safety seriously and have clear escalation pathways for situations that go beyond our scope of care.

What are MindRight Moments?

MindRight Moments are text messages you send to MindRight. You're only charged for the messages you send, never for the valuable support you receive in response.

Who is my MindRight Partner?

MindRight Partners are real people from diverse backgrounds and communities across the country who care deeply about supporting others. They come to MindRight because they believe in the power of listening, shared humanity, and showing up for people during everyday moments that can feel heavy.

For privacy reasons, we don’t share personal details about your MindRight Partner. What we can share is that everyone who supports members on MindRight meets our standards for offering respectful, nonclinical emotional support and is committed to helping others feel heard, supported, and less alone

Are there any rules on how we talk on MindRight?

You can talk however you want (we don't care about grammar, spelling, slang, profanity, etc) - we want you to express yourself comfortably, while adhering to our guidelines on mutual respect.

So is MindRight like my personal therapist?

We want to emphasize that MIndRight is NOT therapy or a licensed clinical service We do not diagnose or provide medical advice. MindRight is a nonclinical emotional support. Many people use MindRight as a starting point in their healing journeys, alongside therapy, or during seasons when therapy isn’t accessible.

In cases of emergency, call 911. If you're experiencing a clinical or long-term issue, see a medical professional.

Is there a situation where you would NOT be confidential?

We respect your privacy (see our Privacy Policy). However, if we detect you are at risk of harming yourself, harming others, or being harmed by others, we will contact an appropriate outside agency to further support you.
